Epiphone B.B. King Lucille Ebony

Epiphone is pleased to announce the limited run (300 units) of the B.B. King Lucille!

Based on the famously named guitars of blues legend B.B. King, the Epiphone B.B. King Lucille was inspired by the various Gibson ES™ models he played over the years - all of which were named Lucille.

Standout features that make this Lucille such a stunning guitar and loving tribute include gold hardware, Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, a Graph Tech® nut, ebony fretboard with pearloid block inlays, a brass truss rod cover with B.B. King’s name engraved on it, mother of pearl Lucille inlay on the headstock face, multi-ply binding on the body and headstock, a TP-6 tailpiece with fine tuners, and a semi-hollow body with a maple center block to reduce feedback.

Unlike most semi-hollowbody guitars, the B.B. King Lucille’s top doesn’t have any f-holes; B.B. himself requested this feature to help further reduce the possibility of feedback. The electronics are equally impressive, with a six-position Varitone switch, a pair of Alnico Classic PRO™ humbucking pickups wired to CTS® potentiometers, and stereo and mono output jacks for maximum flexibility.

Joan Jett is without question a legendary rock musician. A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, her artistic vision and pioneering spirit have inspired countless musicians of all ages worldwide. Epiphone is proud to introduce the Joan Jett Olympic Special. Based on Joan’s longtime favorite stage guitar, it is a lightweight, stage-ready powerhouse with all of the essentials you need to rock, with no frills to get in your way. It features a single PowerHammer PRO humbucker wired to a single CTS® volume potentiometer. The single black Speed-style volume knob has a rubber grip band for precision control. An on/off toggle switch provides “kill switch” functionality. The adjustable wraparound bridge/tailpiece delivers full intonation adjustability and anchors solidly to the mahogany body for excellent sustain. Die-Cast tuners and a Graph Tech® nut anchor down the strings at the other end, and a reproduction of Joan’s signature is located on the rear of the classic Olympic Special headstock. A Custom Premium Gig Bag is included.

The story of “Greeny” is shrouded in mystery, but few guitars are as illustrious. Greeny is one of the most iconic original Les Paul™ Standards ever made, with a unique sound as recognizable as the guitar itself. Previously owned by Peter Green, it was used throughout his time with Fleetwood Mac and later sold to Gary Moore, who used it for three decades with Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist. Now owned by Kirk Hammett, Greeny has passed through the hands of three legendary guitarists. Its distinctive sound is partly from the out-of-phase middle switch position due to the neck pickup’s reversed magnetic polarity. The Epiphone Kirk Hammett "Greeny" Les Paul Standard is a collaboration between Epiphone and the Gibson Custom Shop. This exceptional guitar was inspired by Kirk's legendary original and allows players around the world the opportunity to experience some of the magic of "Greeny" for themselves. It features premium components, including Gibson USA Greenybucker pickups with the neck pickup reverse mounted and complete with a reverse polarity magnet, a Switchcraft® pickup selector and 1/4" output jack, CTS® potentiometers, Mallory™ capacitors, and Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with spade-style buttons on a Gibson-style “open book” headstock. A vintage-style brown and pink hardshell case is also included
