Born in Chicago Marisa performs internationally, with a repertoire that highlights global influences and works by women composers. A prodigy who began playing at 4, she has since won over 20 international competitions, including 1st prizes at the New York Laureate and Twisted Spruce Competitions.

She has performed as a soloist on five continents, in prestigious venues such as the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) and Mozarteum University (Salzburg), and continues to captivate audiences.
